What is Gravatar?

A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an 80×80 pixel avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on weblogs? Gravatar is a free website services.

Ok let get start how to make a gravatar.
1. First, open your browser and goto http://www.gravatar.com
2. Click on Sign UP.
3. Enter your email address, within a few minutes you will receive new email about account activation on gravatar
4. Follow the instruction given on your email.
5. Now let select your email account first, select the first one, by default the email address you use to register will be add to gravatar account.
6. Then select the question mark image to start upload your avatar. You can choose either want to use from Internet image file or upload it direct from your hard disk.
7. You can set the image size as it fit you, move the scroll to adjust the size.
8. Now you can see something like on the pictures.
9. Now let try post a comment here. See either is work or not. Make sure every time you want to post a comment, you’re using email address you sign up for gravatar account.

You can add more then 1 email address actually but this will need you to pay for $10 a year for premium account. Enjoy commenting with your new avatar!
